Patients should be aware of the options to replace the gap. Usually:

• Denture
• Bridge
• Implant

An implant is the best way to go back to most natural state but it is invasive, lengthy and initially expensive elective treatment.

Contraindications for implant treatment.

1. Limited space (less than 5.5mm between teeth) or patients under 18 years old
2. Acute or terminal illness
3. Untreated diabetes or periodontal disease
4. Abuse of tobacco, alcohol or drugs

Existing damaged or missing teeth can be replaced on the same day following consultation, ct-scan and impressions of the mouth

Depending on the case the procedure can take a minimum of a morning or afternoon session
